Wow! Well what an amazing day for all involved in the photo shoot on Sunday 12th February, I just wanted to give you a little sneaky peek before we realise all images!
I was up at 6.30am to get my china and bits ‘n’ bobs ready and packed up for the day then off the beautiful village of Ripley in Surrey to the most amazing cottage called Broadway barn. Mindi the owner of the cottages is a local resident and has just renovated the derelict cottages to the most amazing standard and not to mention her interior décor is to die for. Very talented lady! Should you wish to spend the night or even a week one of the cottages fit for a princess, please visit her website that I have put at the bottom of the blog.
The hair was done by the amazing Jo, who by the way was absolutely fantastic and has such quirky vision and captured everybody’s personality with their hair- Highly recommended. Lauren, the make up artist also did a suburb job and drove all the way from Essex to help out! (She must have woken up earlier
than me!) They made a great team and I would work with them both again.

| Mothers Day |
While all this was going on across the road, Amy and I were setting up the shoot in the cottage ready for our 50’s Mother Day tea party! We used my beautiful pastel coloured mix ‘n’ match tea sets along with Nikki’s yummy cupcakes and the blooming marvellous RTFact flowers!(excuse the pun!) It looked impressive if I do say myself.
Amy styled all the models for the day and who knew petticoats could be used for so many looks! She really did work those beautiful petticoats to the max! Tania who designs the petticoats was amazed! From chic 50’s look under a dress to full on rock ‘n’ roll girls night out! Loved your work girlies.
Once the morning Mothers day shoot was done, we then moved onto the kiddies indoor teddies bear picnic (due to the good old English weather). But as it was indoors we got to incorporate the really cute traditional PJ’s ,They looked so snug, I would have worn them myself if they did them in my size.
I also now know why people say never work with children and animals! Stressful! Haha! But was well worth it looking at the pictures!
We also did a great shoot of Kelly in a roll top bath full of petticoats sipping a cup of tea and eating a cupcake. As you do!
After all the kiddies had gone, we could really get the party started as my sister and 2 of my close friends started the girls night in shoot which later turned into a full on calendars girls pin up shoot!
We wanted the atmosphere of a fun girls night in and boy did we do that. I actually thought I was at a party!

We then moved back into the house and surprised Dave the photographer by saying “what about a calendar girls shoot with the girls coving their bits with cups, saucers and cupcakes”…..need I say more, but he loved the idea!
Thank you everyone for such a fun day, I loved working with all of you and can’t wait for the next one.
Everyone involved really knew what had to be done, So Mindi, Amy, Nikki, Tania, Dave, Dawn, Jo, Lauren and all the models thank you all for making it happen.
Love to you all
